Weird DIY (Do It Yourself) Musical Instruments

A unique interactive musical experience. Did you know that you can make a working flute out of paper? Participants will make their own weird instruments out of paper and other simple materials. Participants will also experience the sights and sounds of instruments from around the world, including Native American Flutes, Fifes, Irish Flutes, Pan Flute, Thailand Wat, Aztec Clay Flute, Paper Flutes, Log Drums, Steel Drums, and many others! The instruments are from the Auberg Collection (the instructor's private collection).

Classes will be on Tuesdays July 9th to August 13th at 3pm at the Denbigh Community Center.

Lego-brick Animation Camp

Learn Stop-Motion Animation techniques while having fun with Lego* bricks. Students will get to build from a large collection of Lego bricks and then learn how to make their creations into animations (equipment and Lego* bricks are provided for in-class use). *The Lego Company does not endorse this class in any way.

Classes will be on Tuesdays July 9th to July 23rd at 12pm to 2pm at the Denbigh Community Center.

Building Block (like Lego-brick) Robotics

Build an awesome Lego-style* remote control robot and guide it through Lego-brick obstacle courses. Use STEM coding to program the robot to move on its own. Students will get to keep their robot and take it home. *NOTE: the robot is Lego-style, not actual Lego brand.

Classes will be on Tuesdays July 30th to August 13th at 12pm to 2pm at the Denbigh Community Center.
